Partners & Investors
We would rather be checked than believed.
Golden Ceiba is in incorporation and is not raising from the public. This page exists so that a counterparty considering working with us knows what we hold ourselves to and what we expect in return.
Accountability
What a counterparty can hold us to.
- No claim we cannot evidence. No resource estimate, no grade figure, no production forecast is published, because none exists yet.
- Named people. Every role in this venture has a named individual attached to it, reachable directly.
- Documentation on request. Corporate documents, authorizations and program detail are shared with counterparties conducting diligence, under the authorizations in force at the time.
- Chain of custody as a deliverable. Assay records, origin certification, royalty receipts and transport documentation, built to what LBMA and DMCC refiners audit — the same package a partner would need to defend the material downstream.
- Zero facilitation, disclosed. Our policy applies to anyone acting on our behalf, and we expect to be told if it is ever tested.
What we look for
What makes a partner work for us.
Ground and access
Holders of licensed ground in West Africa who want it proven properly rather than worked informally.
Refiners and offtake
Refiners and buyers whose audit requirements we can meet from the first delivery, not after a remediation exercise.
Service and equipment
Plant, earthmoving and assay partners who can perform on schedule in country, and who document what they do.
Institutions
Ministries and authorities for whom a fully documented, mercury-free operation is worth more than a fast one.
What we do not look for: intermediaries offering gold of undocumented origin, or arrangements that could not be shown to a refiner’s auditor. Those approaches are declined without exception.
Standard of proof
Chain of custody, from the first gram.
The reason our first phase produces documentation as well as gold is that undocumented material is a dead end. A partner downstream inherits our paperwork, and an auditor will test it against the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and the refiner’s own requirements. So the record is created as the work happens: authorization before ground work, assay and origin at recovery, royalties receipted, transport documented.
